In PayAviator, Safe to Spend starts from Available now, the available balance of the checking and cash accounts you connect. It then keeps back a Payday Cushion you choose. Savings stay protected unless you include them. Move the sliders to see how it works.
Safe to Spend = Available now + Savings (only if included) − Cushion, never below $0
PayAviator's Payoff Planner looks at one card at a time. Snowball pays each card's minimum, and any extra you add goes to the smallest balance first. Avalanche shows paying the full balance off. The gauge shows how much of the selected card's credit limit is used.
Optional money paid above your minimums each month. It goes to the smallest balance first. When that balance is paid off, its payment rolls over to the next one.
Example cards only, for illustration. Projections assume the APR stays the same, interest is added monthly, every card pays its minimum, and there are no new charges. Simplified demo: nothing is saved or sent anywhere. Not financial advice.

PayAviator uses Plaid to let users connect supported financial institutions. When a user chooses to connect an account, PayAviator may access account and balance information and transaction information made available through Plaid so the app can display financial activity and support budgeting and money-management features.
PayAviator does not ask users to provide their online-banking password directly to PayAviator. Account connections are initiated through Plaid. Users control whether they connect an account and can disconnect connected accounts.

No. Connecting a financial account is optional. You can enter bills, income, budgets and debts yourself, and you can disconnect connected accounts at any time.
Safe to Spend starts from Available now, the available balance of the checking and cash accounts you include. It then subtracts your Payday Cushion, which is a percentage of your most recent paycheck (20% by default) or a dollar amount you set. Savings accounts are protected by default; turn on "Include savings in Safe to Spend" to count them. The result never goes below $0. Without connected accounts, Available now comes from PayAviator's own records of checks and funds received, minus paid bills, manual spending and savings.
PayAviator does not ask you to provide your online-banking password directly to PayAviator. Account connections are initiated through Plaid, and authentication with supported institutions is handled through the Plaid connection experience.
No. PayAviator does not sell users' personal financial information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
In PayAviator's Payoff Planner you look at one card at a time and choose how to pay it. Snowball pays the card's minimum payment (if you haven't saved one, PayAviator uses 3% of the balance, at least $25). You can add an extra monthly payment: it goes to your smallest balance first, and when that balance is paid off, its payment rolls over to the next one. Snowball shows the projected payoff date, the number of months and the projected interest. Avalanche shows paying the card's full balance off, including the month's interest. Both show how much of the card's credit limit is used now and after the payment. These are estimates, not financial advice. Try the demo.
No. PayAviator does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or credit advice. Calculations, projections, payoff estimates, budgets, and safe-to-spend figures are informational estimates.
